WPT Commerce Invitational

I must admit that I have only seen a handful of WPT telecasts. Last night, I watched the Commerce Invitational with Brenes and Juanda, etc. Was wondering, is there always that much downtime between hands? It seemed like everytime someone went in there was a break in the action while people got up, walked around, did sit-ups, congratulated each other, etc...I found it to be really annoying, because it took forever to move from hand to hand. Was this unique to that tournament, or is this a common feature of the WPT broadcasts?
