I find that I sometimes take this betting/betting for value matter too far. Specifically when I am up against opponents who have a clue. problem of course is that most are unknown, but...

anybody like raising preflop?

Fair enough, I put villain on KQ...but putting anyone on a specific hand is generally very poor poker. On top of which there are countless number of hands that I guess villain could have played the way she did.

But, since I didnt have a specific read - checking on the river is probably a big mistake.

Thats good too. Party 5/10 I lean towards limping here though.

On a Friday/Sat. night i think so. Yesterday the tables were not prime material, although this particular table proved to be decent.

Ed Miller says it's close. Me, I only raise AA. Really. Believe me. Please.

Cannot check. You would call a river bet from him, wouldn't you? Only AK, K9, KQ beats you...logically. AK he may have raised with, K9 would have 3-bet your flop raise. Too many hands to lose to you for you to check. Well played. Please tell me you won this hand.

Domination was the theme of that session:

UTG: KQo for the winner.

Well, I am closing the action - had I not been a bet is a no brainer. I think the distribution theory suggests that putting villain on specifically KQ is a mistake.

I would have raised preflop, but otherwise good.

Note that one of the benefits of raising KJs from EP is that it will usually fold KQo if the player is decent and you haven't shown down a crazy raise or something.

I havent read any other responses. I will assume the only thing being debated is limping preflop(I could go either way with that)
