Spanish 21

Does anyone use a counting system to play Spanish 21? Would it even make sense to do this?

Nevermind. Looks like the house edge on Spanish 21 is around .40 using perfect strategy, which would seriously bite into an advantage gained by counting.

The house edge is even higher .78 on games where the dealer takes a hit on soft 17. Which it seems a lot of games are set up this way.

Probably a stupid question, but what's the difference between Spanish 21 and straight up blackjack?

They play with a 48 card deck without the 10s.
