I would have bet the river and called a raise. Looks like you checked, he bet. It's close, I guess I'd call in that instance (as opposed to raising--folding is not an option, of course.) For him to 3-bet preflop and then not even raise the flop makes me think he's drawing, maybe with A/images/graemlins/diamond.gifK/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.

I think checking this river in the first place was a mistake, but since he bet you now have a little more information on his hand's strength. This is why I wouldn't checkraise (if for some reason I had checked) here but would bet and call a raise. For all you know he'd check behind.

OK. I'd probably throw in one last raise there and call a 3-bet. He might have an overpair and not want you to check behind because of a potentially scary river if he's ahead. I dunno, I see enough outright silliness on Party that it would take a river 3-bet to convince me I'm probably beat.
