The don't seem to have much to me. Seem to be a vehicle of negative campaigning to me. However, I do seem some value in viewing how the candidates react to them. IMO Bush gets an A, Kerry gets a big fat F.
As far as the Swift Boat ads, I think Kerry's changed his story enough as a result that it does call into question at least some aspects of his record. Why won't Kerry sign the 180 form releasing all of his records?
