I have a 17" HP flat screen monitor, and I've been having trouble multitabling anything past 2 tables because of major table overlap. So I was told to increase the resolution. I go in to change it and surprise, I'm already at my max resolution. For some reason my monitor will only go up to 1024x768. Any way to get past this or any other ideas for how I can effectively play more than two tables at once?

Nope, lcd monitors have fixed resolution... you can't go beyond 1024x768 as far as I know.

I just bought a Dell Trinitron 21" flat-screen CRT from Overstock.com. Under $300 delivered. At 1600x1200, it displays 4 Party tables with no overlap, and they are large enough to see everything clearly. It takes up a lot of real estate, but on a corner desk, not a big deal.

I just looked at that Dell monitor on Overstock.com. It says $2.95 shipping. That can't be right???

If you live near a big city computer fairs are a good source of high quality refurb 21" CRTs for about $230 bucks (got my Viewsonic Professional Series P225f for that price). Agree that a corner desk setup works well with the big CRT.

Also consider two monitors, with second being LCD off to side. Windows XP easily drives two monitors and most video cards have second DVI output (and if you don't have DVI input you can get VGA to DVI converter plug).

That is correct, and that is what I paid. And they shipped it FedEx Ground. Overstock charges $2.95 per order for shipping, regardless of size or weight.

That rules, thanks for the pointer.
