6 handed $500 buy in NL tourney. Half hour into it I am BB holding KK, table limps and SB raises to $400 (blinds are 100/200) I go for the trap with a call, table folds. Flop 9c 7c 3h, SB goes all in(chip stacks comaparable)and I immediately call, he shows a set of 9's and gets the another on the turn, I am TOAST!!!
My thoughts, he had AA the hand before w/no action so I knew he did not have my KK beat, I put him on JJ or QQ. My first mistake was not re-raising aggressivley pre-flop.My second mistake was not picking up on what he really had given the board and the all in bet. By the way I had no experience with this player so I was going on very little as far as how he plays.
So did I totally blow this hand???

I think he'd have called your reraise PF, and then check raised you on the flop when you pushed big.

You were screwed either way.

Not reraising was a mistake, but unless it was an all-in he'd probably have called anyway putting you on something like AJ being in the BB.
