My thinking was that this guy (chip leader) figured I was on a blind steal. He might have bet that flop with anything...yet, well, read-on.

I think it's fairly weak tight. You said yourself that he could've bet on anything. You also have two redraws... I don't know how to play the hand from here on though, especially since you only have 14 BBs left if you fold, but you don't have enough to reraise other than all in. But I hate a push, especially with the prevalence of "ace-rag players". So I've talked myself into a circle now, anyone else help?

I think this is a call or fold situation. A raise wont accomplish much, a worse hand will get rid of it, and an ace will easily call. The only hand that you have beat that will call your allin is a flush draw. Its a tough hand to play due to your mediocre stack and bad flop. I fold if my table is weak, but otherwise I call, planning to call a turn allin.

Although I knew he could be making this play with many hands, here's what I thought:

Pocket pair KK-33 (excluding TT):
Definately bet out...but only T300 into a T-650 pot? Maybe, but more likely to overbet the pot (he is chip leader).

KQ:
1-way str8 draw...possibly bets 1/2 pot

KdQd:
Check/raise all-in

AA, TT, 22:
Definately check/raise or check/call-check/raise

AK, AQ, AJ:
Certainly wants an underpair or weaker ace to call. Doesn't want to give up too much to a bigger ace. I think a 1/2 Pot-sized bet would suggest these hands.

Simple flush draw:
Possibly 1/2 pot-sized bet.

I think this is a very RD play. I Called a flop, turn, and river bet for half of my stack in a SNG last night with 2-2 because I had a pretty good idea the guy had no pair (lol...and I took half of his stack). I am not weak/tight (at least, not all the time /images/graemlins/grin.gif.) I think the fact that he was chip leader influenced my play here, but I'm not sure.

I see absolutely no problem with this fold, and I do not think it is weak tight.

With more chips I'd like to raise to 900, but in your situation that leaves you pot committed - so the fold is probably good here.
