When to move to mid limit games

Been playing 3-6 hold'em b/m for about a year. I've been beating the 3-6 for 1 bb/hr. Taken a couple of shots at the 10-20 and have done well up around 50bb over three sessions, but I'm still nervous about making the move up in limits.

A couple of my friends are taking more shots at the 10-20 game and are doing ok and I don't want to be left behind. Any comments/recomedations/suggestions would be appreciated.

moving up because your friends are doing it is probably not a good idea. move up when you have the proper bankroll and ability.

Remember that with higher limits a normal down swing could bust you.
