Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, K/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
UTG calls, Hero raises, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button 3-bets, SB folds, BB folds, UTG calls, Hero calls.

Wondering what UTG could have to call 2 cold more back.

Flop: (10.33 SB) K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif (3 players)
UTG bets, Hero calls, Button calls.

Okay now UTG bets out right away. Smells weird.

Turn: (6.66 BB) 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets, Button calls, UTG calls.

Now I'm very confused. I think I may be ahead of the button. I don't know what UTG could have maybe a draw of some sort. I don't want free cards so I'm betting hoping no check/raise or button raise.

River: (9.66 BB) 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks, Button checks.

This hand threw me off to much to be the river.

Final Pot: 9.66 BB
Main Pot: 9.66 BB, between Button, UTG and Hero.

I felt I was dealing with a second best hand preflop then a close winner post flop. I didn't know where I stood or how to play it.

[/ QUOTE ] Trying to reason the mind of a fish will make you go crazy. Don't do it, your mental health is at stake. (I'm assuming UTG is a fish)

Raise the flop. I can see UTG betting with a bunch of hands you beat.

You missed a painfully easy value bet on the river.

I've seen this lots of times. The classic go n' stop. He has a draw.

I agree that the river is likely the worst thing in this hand. Did this due to the weirdness IMO of the hand.

Is it not horrible to not raise the flop here? If 3 bet by either play would I auto call down? If Button were to raise me on turn do I call down?

I'm thinking no, no, yes.
