this looks pretty good, it sucks if someone had a K but I play it similarly unless I'm raised. is this reckless betting on my part?

Hmm, another AJo hand, another awkward situation.....

6 players saw that flop, so you need 10 other cards to NOT be a K. Turn card, now you have to dodge 6's as well! I can see A6o calling 1 sb on the flop.

Like I said, it's awkward.. I'd probably play it the same, you have a few outs there and you aren't getting any resistance...

With two opponents, I would just check the river. A better hand won't fold, so do you have two weaker hands calling you? Probably not*. A weak K will often be relieved to not have to put more money in this pot and will check behind.

* Only straight draws on the flop. So even if you know one has a straight draw (and will fold), you still have an opponent who probably has a weaker J or a K. There are more K's out there, so I don't see the value in this bet.

I prefer to check when I have second pair, unless its shorthanded.

I then bet the turn if there is no action on the flop.
