I would generally go for a checkraise on this flop with 5 opponents. Difficult to put the CO on a hand since he posted, looks like a crappy 2 pair but of course you have to showdown.

I like your line although I would probably go for the checkraise on the flop.

There's no reason to raise pre-flop from the small blind because AQo does not play well in multi-way pot and the only person you may eliminate is the BB.

You have to raise here, you have to. Even if you don't understand why, you have to. The BB will probably fold, good. The poster might fold, good. You get like 100 extra bets in there. When you win the pot, those 3 BB will thank you.

Just raise.

If there wasn't a poster I actually probably woulnd't have raised. Given the poster I think it's pretty automatic.

AQo falls into the 'it's close' catagory.
