At the time, we had just come back from the break, and my stack was about average...still far from money considerations. My thinking was that my opponent could well have re-raised pre-flop with AA or KK. QQ and TT are less likely for obvious reasons. Since he didn't, he could very well have AK, AQ JJ or worse. I definitely didn't want him drawing to AK or AQ or AJ here.

Good move or bad?

Thanks,
Jonathan

i dont think this is a good spot to go broke here. we see this all the time on these boards, where an all in is a bad play because it will only be called if beaten. if you think he has AK he will probably fold to a bet on the turn. i would think that AA or KK might well play the hand like he did but he could hand AT or KT or JTs to call all in. he is not calling all in with AK or AJ here.

So how would you play the hand?
1. Fold?
2. Call the 1200? Then what on the turn?
3. Raise? How much?

The hand seems too good to just give up on, doesn't it?
