20-40 game, 8-handed.

2 limpers to me on the button I have 2 red Kings and raise, Big Blind and limpers call.

4 players $170 in the pot.

Flop 8h-6h,5c

Checked to me I bet, BB and a limper call.

Turn 4h checked to me and I Check (I think this is a mistake in retrospect, the reason I did this was because the Big Blind had just cracked my pocked Queens with a gut-shot on the river. I also had my heart redraw and didnt want to pay a made hand 2 bets while I was behind and didnt fear too many free cards.)

River 4s, checked to me I bet and noone calls...Comments?

I think that you played it just fine.

If you had bet the turn your opponents would probably have folded. And by checking the turn you may be able to induce a bluff or get a curiousity call on the end.

On the turn you also have a hand that is vulnerable and that you want to see the river card with. If you are beat (or get outdrawn) then by checking the turn you save at least one big bet.
