Do you call this everytime?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (8 handed)

Button (t860)
SB (t1794)
BB (t755)
UTG (t1415)
UTG+1 (t658)
Hero (t730)
MP2 (t731)
CO (t1057)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif, Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif. UTG posts a blind of t30.
UTG (poster) calls t30, UTG+1 calls t30, Hero raises to t150, MP2 folds, CO folds, Button raises to t860 (All-In), SB calls t845, BB folds, UTG folds, UTG+1 folds,

<---note the post #

depends on what kind of player the button is..does he move in a lot..etc..

with queens I probably would of limped in with the intent
to smooth call any raises (depends on table)
then move in if the board looks right..
id say your up against AK, KK, AA, or he could be a moron..

The small blind smooth-called 845?! I'm out of there.

If the buyin is $10, the SB has A8o and I'm all in, too.

if you put your opponent on KK, AA or Ak at low buy in games then you are giving them way too much credit. i have seen all ins with hands as bad as KJo and often the players will have AQ or even AJs.

If the SB had raised, that would have been a strong possibility /images/graemlins/tongue.gif....but the call scares me, esp. because it can't be some nut job ready to fold if Hero reraises. Since Hero doesn't have enough chips to reraise.

EDIT....

but UTG does...oops, my bad.

Nonetheless the call continues to scare me somewhat.

I tend to do that..I play very tight until 4-5 handed. I dont have many SNGs under my belt so trying to build up the bankroll..

Final Pot: t2540

Results in white below:
SB shows 6s 6c (two pair, eights and sixes).
Hero shows Qh Qs (two pair, queens and eights).
Button shows Qd As (one pair, eights).
Outcome: Hero wins t2280. SB wins t260.

I'm still not sure if this is something I should be calling after an all-in and a call.

I never call this, unless the reraiser is playing like a maniac.

If you play low limit Party, you're wrong not to call this. The above hand is the perfect explanation why.

Hell, the SB would've been much better off with A8o.

I don't think I am. I think you guys are seriously overestimating the amount of times you are ahead. Plus, I am dominant when the game gets shorthanded and becomes a blind-stealing affair. Whatever I lose in expectation here (I don't think it is much), I can make by stealing blinds later on, and I've survived to a much later point in the tournament.
