If I backoff anywhere with a flopped flush it would be on the river. You know where 5 of the spades are already, only 4 left, and only 3 can help him win.

Not to nitpick, but aren't there 8 spades left? He was the BB so he could have anything. It's fairly likely that he Thas the flush also, but he may actually have a lower flush than you. With that in mind I think you played the hand ok, however, I wouldn't play T8s even from the button, but that depends on your playing style.

You should, especially after 5 limpers.

Like I said my style would keep me from calling T8s. Position is important but in limit poker it isn't as valuable as in NL IMO.

After 5 limpers, T8s is very playable, IMO. I would have played it the same.

Yup I would have played it the same. One gapped suited connectors are playable from the button

I would cap the turn, and if he still leads into you on the river, just call. Lots of people will overplay the A of spades or a set here.
