FYI (for anyone who cares) - if you don't have an invitation already and want one, you can get a GMAIL account on eBay for less than $1. If you want one immediately, you can use the "Buy It Now" feature and get one for $2.

*in exchange for the ability of Google to read your mail and provide you with better advertising.
