Ok, im making this post to get some strategy/opinions about a home game i play in. In my home game setup there are basically 2 different scenarios.
1) 11-15 players, 2 tables play down until a total of 8 players remain. Then the game merges to one table and continues normally. (the tables are kept equal by moving players if one table loses players faster)
2) The game has 6-10 players and is run as a single table the entire time.
In both of these situations the stacks start at around 3500, and the blinds move as follows:
25/50
50/100
75/150
100/200
150/300
200/400
250/500 and onward.
Blinds go up every 30 minutes.
In general the players tend to be very aggressive, and the number of multipots is fairly low.
The payouts are fairly forgiving:
6-8 players, top 3 are paid. 9-12, top 4 are paid. 12+, top 5 are paid.
Any strategy ideas/comments are welcome.
