Sitting in a decent 15-30 game on Friday nite in Upstate New York.

I'm in middle position with AsKc,all fold to me, I raise. loose player (LP) on left calls, solid player (SP) on button calls. blinds fold. 3 handed.

Flop is Qs, 9c, 4s, giving me two overcards with the backdoor nut flush and nut straight draw. I bet. LP and SP call.

was this correct? should I have checked and folded?

Turn is 7s, giving me two overcards and the nut flush draw. I check, LP checks, SP bets. I call. Should I have bet into this board? should I have checked and folded?

River is the Ah. I check, LP checks. SP bets. I call, LP folds. Should I have bet here?

Results later!!

Depending on your exact opponents and their tendencies, all of your plays are debatable. On the other hand, they are all also reasonable. So I don't see anything wrong with the way you played the hand.

...debatable, yet reasonable....is this a situation where there is no definitive answer even from one of the authority in HE?

I appreciate the response from the man who's books I've read cover to cover and has probably made (and, more importantly, saved) me thousands.

SP had 10sKs, and had made the flush on the turn. This was one of the lo-lights from a rather unprofitable evening.

I play there also usually twice a month 5 - 10, 10 - 20.

The action is great there.

PS - I would bet.

It is great action. I've probably seen you there before. I who was playing the no-limit while it was going earlier this summer. awesome action.

probably the best 15-30 / 20-40 games I've ever seen.
