A little background first...A few days ago I managed to make the final table at a weekly tournament at my local casino. Everyone at the table is given $335 in real money and it basically plays like a cash game in which the short stack can leave at any time. This particular hand was played 3-handed with blinds of 30-60. I had built my stack to around 700 with some basic tight-aggressive play. The player to my right was a college kid with about 1000 in chips. He was happy to be at the final table and seemed anxious to leave with his big stack...

Hero is in BB with Q2, button folds, kid calls, hero checks

Flop: K T 5 rainbow, kid bets $50, hero raises to $200 - kid thinks, asks "what do have, ten, five?" and calls

Turn: J, kid thinks for ten seconds and checks, hero goes all-in for $425 - kid thinks for two minutes and finally flips over K8

What do you guys think? After the flop I was almost certain he had a king with a bad kicker and I could get him to lay it down. The J on the turn was probably the best card that could have come off for me, I'm not sure I could have made this move without it. The basic idea behind the move was that I was pretty sure that he did not want to risk that much money on a marginal hand, even if I played it way too fast...thoughts?

Not really much to say, you made a move, reading the guy as weak and you moved him off his hand. Nicely done.
