I saw it. It was a helluva move. Amazing was that even though he took a slight shot in the leg while still in the air, he got that much power in that shot.

I was asking people if they saw it earlier today.

The Greek contestant had broken his leg in a tae kwondo bout at the Sydney Olympics. (I don't have a video of it but I remember that the mike caught the sound of his bone breaking off pretty nicely!) Against unanimous medical opinion and all odds, the man made a total recovery and even fought his way up to the final of the Athens Olympics!

After the Korean's KO win, the Korean and the Greek embraced. The Greek guy was still dizzy from the kick. The Korean, in recognition of Nicholaidis' guts (admired for in the tae kwondo athletic fraternity), raised the Greek's arms, as if proclaiming him the moral victor of the bout. The Greek kept pointing at the Korean indicating that, no, the Korean was fully worthy of the win and the gold. The crowd gave both a 10-minute standing O. Good moment.
