Yes you were I remember it very much. I had a9 you had a4 adn pulled 4's. Then later you went all in with K9 and the other person had KK and you pulled 9 on flop and river. Then i went all in with a 5 suited and lost to a better hand. You did pull off being the underdog atleast 10 times that tourney. Good work.

Then limped with 66 early position flop...k44, bet the pot of 70 got min raised and called the 70 just to see a 6 and got it, busted the guy. The only time i would think about showing is when we are on the bubble, (jacking time) and you raise it up with AK looking like a steal and everyone folds, show em, hoping they think you will only steal with good cards. But then I'm not sure its good. Kinda transparent though.

If you guys were watching, what did you think about the AK play? I was hoping to limp reraise him preflop, but the flop worked out exactly like I hoped it would, he bets big, gets a weak caller and I can move in.

I've had a major run in the other direction. Down from 3500 to 900 at the 2nd break after i shove all-in against a small raise and a limper with AK. Limper folds and raiser flips AA. I guess I shouldn't put them all on AQ.

At least I still have the 'stars rebuy tournament to keep me occupied.

The hand I lost most of my chips on went like this, I had 3300, my opponent had 5500, blinds are 100/200. I picked up 99 in ep, raised to 300, only button called. Flop came 467r, I bet 700, he called. This guy called a big flop bet earlier with a gutshot, which is how he got so many chips, so I really wanted to either knock him off his overcards or charge him a lot. the turn was a 5 and I fired out another thousand, which he called. The river was an ace and I check/folded to his all in. He showed 77.

Busted somewhere around 300. About to lose 2/3 of my stack to the blinds when I find A4s. I push and get called by AQo.

Also busted out of the 'stars rebuy. Not raising enough preflop with AA screws me again when I run into some sort of set. But I really needed a double-up, and thus was willing to take the risk. Good luck to all who remain.

I was watching that hand. It would make no difference here, but if you are going to call his all-in you are better off moving all-in yourself, especially when all you have is overcards. That gives him a chance to fold junk one pair hands.

Was I okay there, I needed to scare him a bit to get some cussion when i go up against him next. I wanted him to bet in turn or river. The guy bets a TON...oh well...its all good

Airpo - saw the AJo hand where you raised to 3500 (750/1500 blinds) and then checked the hand down hoping for a bluff. I'd raise a little more pf and probably bet the turn or the river. A small bet on the turn can look like a missed check-raise that's now afraid of the ace or an attempt to steal. chances are good he'd have pushed preflop with AQ/AK, and AT would have bet the flop with TPTK.

(edit - I have no idea how bombashack's been playing. I'm curious to hear your train of thought on this hand though.)
