No real read on the villain - his stack has been up and down but he normally shows down decent hands.

I wouldn't call, but perhaps I've become weak/tight.

What were you trying to accomplish with the call on the turn? Keep the pot small? The turn brings a straight and a flush draw, and he bets 1/3rd of the pot. I'd raise him there; if you thought you were ahead on the flop, why would you be behind on the turn? The only hands that suddenly come to life and begin betting here would be something like Jx of diamonds, Q8, QJ, or a set. I'd raise the turn $5 and see where you're at. If you only get called, all your money can go in on the river if a blank falls. The possibility of a one-card straight or the flush appearing on the river is too great for you to be calling along, but if he had a set or two pair, he won't want to give away a free card either, so he'd probably push and you could confidently fold.

This is one of those hands where I'd almost prefer to be out of position. He uses his being out of position well.

Pot-raise the turn. Everything would have turned out differenly had you done that.
