i would have bet more on the turn, around 3/4 the pot or 600-700.

Raise more every time. You should definetely be all in before the river comes down.

I dont like this hand, except how u played PF.

On the flop, you have a great hand, but a very vulnerable hand. I don't need to tell you that there is a flush and straight draw on the board. I would've raised more on the flop, probably all-in. The pot has 345 when it gets to you, and you have 750 or so behind. If the board was friendlier, I would advocate calling and getting your chips in on the turn, but there are tons of cards that could come on the turn that would scare you. You have to push this flop.

You also have going for you that many people at the level this is played at will not give you credit for a set. You will get called sometimes by a pair, or a draw which you will have redraws against.

Don't be scared of "chasing" off the competition. The +EV play here is to go all-in, not give correct odds to see the turn (your min type raise is truly awful, as it 1) reveals the strength of your hand and 2) prices people in).

Play this hand like an expert, not someone who thought "Oh my god, oh my god, a set, a set". /images/graemlins/laugh.gif Winning this pot on the flop is not all a catasrophy.

Yeah you definitely need to raise more on the flop if not all in because im sure you will not lay this hand down no matter what comes on the turn so it's best to put the other guy on the hot seat and make him decide to call most of his stack. Anyways what was the outcome?

You should probably raise more on the flop, getting money into the pot when you can.

And Hero doesn't do anything on the river because Hero is already all in. PUSH ON THE TURN!!!

I did call this.UTG showed A 10 clubs for the flush. The other guy had K 10 of diamonds.

I figured I should have pushed on the turn but I didn't think of doing so on the flop. With his straight and flush draw I'm not sure I could have pushed him off the hand.

why on earth would you make a small raise on this flop? i would be pushing here for sure and if i am shown QQ or KK oh well. you really screwed this one up on the flop and you shoudlnt have to have made a river call.

what were you channeling the spirit of Grady Little?? /images/graemlins/blush.gif (obviously I am a yankees fan)

you dont really care if you push him off the hand tho that would be nice. if he calls with a draw here you make money in the long run.
