Just sat down, no reads; obvious mistake here is not re-raising PF - hence I have no clue what UTG+1 has. Having said this, he probably doesn't put me on KK/AA either, so in retrospect I probably should have pushed here. Was I an idiot to be scared of the J and fold?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (9 handed)

BB ($50)
UTG ($120.90)
UTG+1 ($48.72)
MP1 ($89)
Hero ($47.50)
MP3 ($92.60)
CO ($86.70)
Button ($10.85)
SB ($116.25)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K/images/graemlins/spade.gif, K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls $1, <font color="CC3333">MP1 raises to $4</font>, Hero calls $4, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button folds, SB folds, BB folds, UTG+1 calls $3.

Flop: ($13.50) J/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 7/images/graemlins/club.gif, J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="blue">(3 players)</font>
UTG+1 checks, MP1 checks, <font color="CC3333">Hero bets $10</font>, <font color="CC3333">UTG+1 raises to $20</font>, MP1 folds, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $43.50

Hi,

I think you gotta reraise that preflop - u know that so,

Realistically he has 4 holdings here, AA/KK/QQ/AJ. I don't see him pushing TT as hard here.

Without reads I lay this down here also.

Um this is the PP 50NL...
There is a decent chance he has a jack of course with a minreraise. But I wouldn't put him on only 4 hands. He could have 77/99/TT/JJ/QQ/KK/AA/AK/AJ/KJs/QJs/10Js....
Obviously some of these are less likely then otheres. This is just to say its not a bad laydown. But I see nothing wrong with pushing either. There is some real wackos that play those games. Your hand is good here a good percentage of the time...Obviously you need to reraise preflop though. You didn't charge him anything for seeing the flop if he did have a jack. Also if you raise preflop if he will most likely fold a hand like AJ but play a hand like 99/TT/QQ which is exactly what you want.

i'd put him on AJ. if he had JJ he was a sucker to re-raise you on the flop, and if he had AA i'd think he'd have raised more than $4 preflop. but i'm just guessing.
