OK, I am pretty sure I screwed up almost every step here, but am not sure. Once the flop comes, do people like the semi bluff? Do you check the turn (and invite a bluff on the river)? I was afraid of someone slow playing a nut or close to it flush on the turn, which is why I didn't want to make a bigger bet on the turn, because I'm thinking I have to fold to a raise. Damn this game. Damn it and its complexities to hell!!!

I'm not sure why you continued to bet here. It is obvious that your opponent has made a hand, and basically any made hand in this situation beats yours. Once the 4th diamond hits, you can be almost positive he holds a higher one than you. You are large stack going into this situation, there is no need to risk this for a very long shot win.

Personally, I would rarely play 55 UTG, but if I did, I would at least raise with it. Your bet on the flop wasn't horrible, but if someone called, I would give the hand up. With two overcards and a possible flush on that flop, I think I would look for a more favorable spot to attack.

If anything the 4th diamond is a chance to put a bigger bluff on the river to try to steal the hand. I dont agree with betting away on the flop or turn, but since you did I would bet a little more on the river and 4th diamond, since you have committed yourself to playing it this way in the first place.

I was behind the whole way but got lucky. He showed Ac-2d for the lowest flush, and I beat him with my 5d. Do you call with the top pair BD terrible flush draw with a 3-flush on the flop?

It seems to me that if I played the hand badly, he might have played it worse.
