Hand #1

MP3 is very loose preflop and is OK postflop-- a little passive but occasionally throws caution to the wind.

Hand 1 folding is just totally unacceptable. You can call down or you can raise, call the 3bet, and maybe fold the river if you don't improve. Folding to the 3bet couldn't be much more clearly incorrect just based on pot odds considerations. Because you can't fold to the 3bet, the raise puts you in a bad situation, so I'd just call planning to call the river unless I improve enough to raise (definetly a ten, sometimes a jack, rarely a queen).

Hand 2 if I don't think I can raise preflop I'm folding. I just have no interest in playing QJo 4 ways. Postflop I think you played fine, an argument can be made for betting the turn planning to fold to a c/r or river bet but the check seems ok too.
