I just read one of your threads where you wrote:

"...my experience is vast and over."

"...Then something went wrong. Very wrong..."

I really would like to hear a quick opinion from you about online poker. I will also probably buy your book. I respect your opinion because I have played against you before. You really pissed me off by knocking me out of 2 tourneys at the final table at the Poker Zone in the Mirage. So I remembered your name just in case I ever played you again. I was on a roll that month I played you April/May 2000. I went to Tunica and the World Poker Open that April and played the greats. I played well and realized that I truly learned well the 5 years I had been playing and now I had confidence since I was tested. I went home and I went on to finish 2nd in a tournament in New Mexico netting $1600. I packed up the wife and kids and said lets go to Vegas. On the way I won a 7card stud tourney in Tucson netting $700. I then played in 5 tourneys at the Miage and finished 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th. The 1st place finish was in 7card stud (I am not even a stud player) and I got a cool pic from the casino for that. You knocked me out on the limit holdem 4th, and the pot limit omaha 5th. I was so mad the second time you knocked me out. I was first after UTG and raised to 7200 after a small UTG raise with As9s9h2h you gave me this look like "pleeaaaassee dont represent" and you raised with AAJ2. The flop came KsJs6h and I never improved. I was out on the strip dumbstruck still trying to figure out what happened. Oh well I was really impressed with your play. I have had problems with the sites and I wonder what your theories are. I would post them on here but there are too many naysayers, you know, the type that would have said it was impossible for terrorists to hijack a fleet of planes and crash them into buildings...

Dear I Am The Greatest,

I remember you AND that hand. Hi. Before that PLO tournament at the Mirage, I jokingly told my buddy that I would prove that tournaments require no skill to win, by winning a tournament in a game I'd never played before (PLO), ring game or otherwise. Woops! Then I went and won it! Nevermind. Nevermind then. Of course it's all skill!
