As a relative newbie to poker, I was astounded to realize that while I normally verbalize extensively to myself when solving a non-poker problem, I have a tendency to clam up when under stress at the table. I'm wondering if other beginner-to-intermediate players experience this same effect, and have set up a poll in the Psychology forum to find out.
