This one I don't like the 3-bet. Raising the turn is a pretty strong move, and it smells like a sneaky set.

hmm... i wonder what anyone else thinks about this? This sounds fine to me. I think you are probably up more than 50% of the time here. First thing i would think is someone raised his crappy pair or medium pocket pair when they saw the rag on the turn. Or crappy ace for that matter.

Given no reads, I like the turn 3bet. My experience is that the CO will often show you a "slowplayed" A at the end, and then berate you for being a fish.

edit: I think Sfer is right on, but only if the player has demonstrated some actualy thought before. Otherwise the A is just too likely.

Nice bet.

Why did you check the flop? You have middle pair and top pair is an ace in an unraised pot.

I am check folding the flop no way am I betting out.

1 The pot is small

2 I have a middle pair no kicker.

3 If I am not behind now my hand is vunerable to redraws and overcards, anyone who calls I am probably behind.

CO capped, and I check-called the river. He showed 66 and took it.

I've seen raises with OESDs, a "slowplayed" AK, or other such nonsense here enough times that I 3-bet this situation, but in retrospect I don't think that occurs often enough to risk being capped.
