I'm looking for the best beginners book, intermediate book, and advanced/expert book on sports betting.

Any recommendations?

2 books that you should definitely have:

Sharp sports betting by Stanford Wong

Spelhanboken by Jorma Vuoksenmaa

The Wong book is primarily about football. If you are looking for a book that covers all sports, I've never found a good one with the exception of the Bob McCune books. McCunes' style will make you crazy but the information is excellent. I'd choose "Education of a Sports Bettor" as a first read. The best pro football book I read was by J.R. Miller (forgot the title but Amazon.com will remember). The Robert Ross "How to beat [fill in the sports name]" series is good, too. You'll probably end up reading them all if you're serious. Be careful of pro football, though. Football linesmakers are by far the toughest to beat.

Wong's book gives more coverage to football than other sports, but there's good stuff on basketball, boxing, and other sports.

I'd like to second the recommendation for Wong's book, though. It's way ahead of anything else I've read on the topic of betting sports. I think it's the best advanced book because it discusses some important complex situations. I think it's also the best beginning book because the way Wong formulates many situations should frame how a good bettor thinks about them. It's a fantastic book.

If you are a horse racing fan, I would suggest Andrew Beyer's books (I have read Beyer on Speed and Picking Winners).
