I was reading the other thread about Bonds last night and got to thinking, who in the history of baseball has the most home runs and stolen bases combined? Well, for me two names came to mind immediately, Barry Bonds and Rickey Henderson. As far as I can tell, there are 4 people who have had over 1000 HR and SB combined in their carreer.

1. Rickey Henderson has 1703
2. Barry Bonds has 1199 (including stats from this year)

Who are the other two that have over 1000 (assuming I did the math correctly and there are only 4)?

that was my first guess, but I wasn't sure if Cobb had enough dingers. also too lazy to look it up, since I was pretty sure it was two of those three.

Correct. In the late 80s and early 90s I can remember all that talk about Rickey Henderson being worth about 1 run per game as a leadoff hitter. I didn't realize he had that many more stolen bases then everyone else.
