I was going to post this in theory, but it's a hand I just played.

10-20 online. No real reads yet. I've got 10-8s in the SB. EP limper and an MP raiser to me. This is usually a fold for me but, the way the cards have been running, I call for $15 more. The way the cards are running help. No two ways about it.

Flop Jxx with 2 of my suit. I ch, EP ch's, MP bets, I raise and both call.

Turn puts the fl out there and I lead into 2 folds. I'm asking myself, not for the the first time, if this is the right way to go about this.

I've won as many pots as the next guy with this move without the fl. That's not the point. The question is whether the c/r to the draw and it's semi-bluff win pots make up for the lost BB's when you hit the fl on the turn and collect folds.

Its better to bluff them out. About 2.5 times better. (That's assuming you're just running normal.)
