Mid stages of $10+1 PP SNG blinds are 25-50, I have about 850 chips.

I pick up TT UTG and raise to 150. Small stack on the button calls allin for about 130. SB (about 1000 chips) calls.

Flop comes 9 high rainbow. SB checks, I go all in for 700 into a pot of 450....excessive?

I quite like this play, it stops any accidents (If you are already beat, you were going to have an accident anyway).

Tens don't like the possibility of being up against four overcards, but they will happily take on two in a large sidepot.

Depending on your table image, I agree completely with Lori. The all-in gives your remaining opponent lots to worry about, unless he hit top set. I actually don't think you'll get called unless you are almost drawing dead already, but this is PP.

Thanks for the confirmation. The SB called with JJ and I was done, I didn't really see anything horribly wrong with my play but it occured during the middle of a major downswing so I'm on the lookout for leaks.

the problem here is that the side pot has almost nothing in it so you are really betting for value. do you want to be called here for all of your chips?
