Nice website.

Speaking of venomous creatures, this is one you do not want to run into:

"The venom has cardiotoxic, neurotoxic and highly dermatonecrotic components. It is injected by hundreds of thousands of microscopic stings over a wide area of the body and on the trunk."

"Victims usually experience shock, muscular cramps, numbness, nausea, vomiting, severe backache, frothing at the mouth, constriction of the throat, loss of speech, difficulty in breathing, paralysis, delirium, convulsion, and ultimately, death."

"Absorption into the circulation is rapid."

"Once the venom from the sea wasp enters the human bloodstream, it can paralyze the heart in 30 seconds. The pain caused by the venom has been described as the most excruciating in the world."
-Roy Rivera, Jr., Southwestern University

"Get stung by one and you have anywhere from 30 seconds to four minutes to get help or die!"
-Extreme Science

Nasty stuff.

Good website Boris, you got any sites on aliens? I think I'd be better off handling one of them compared to my chances with a venomous snake.

look at pics of the members of this society. Then tell me who you would rather tangle with, the snake or the human?

I'm not too afraid of this snake...and yes, this pic is from the members section of that site.
