I'll be staying at the Fairmont Hotel in Chicago --

and was wondering if there are any poker rooms a

reasonable cab ride from there. I'm looking for

low limit stud games. Thanks

Your best bet is Harrah's, with 15 poker tables. It is the closest to your hotel and also the largest poker room within a 200 mile radius.

You can get to Harrah's via shuttle if you won't have a car. If you call Harrah's they'll give you the number of the shuttle service. It's about $1, as I recall. You pay $11 and they reimburse you $10 when you get to the casino.

I was just about to ask for this info too. This week is my annual Friday night in East Chicago.


Still have the "odd hour" boardings for 30 min? And must call the poker room before to get on list-----then GET there within 15 minutes and sign in? Any other new rules?


Still has the choice of holdem at 4-8, 6-12, 10-20, and 20-40?
