Ever play poker when you're upset? Angry? Sad?

This weekend, I found out that I girl I had been seeing hooked up with one of my good friends (about a week after we called it off). I decided to take it out on the $50 dollar SNGs at party. After busting out in the first 2 with Kings and Aces, I was chipleader with 4 left in a third one. I proceded to lose QQ vs 44, 77 v A6, and finally AQ vs A2.

My point here is not to garner sympathy or tell about bad beats. Instead, I'm looking for support on the idea that it is never good to play when you're not in the good mood, and that things seem to always go bad when you don't have a postive attitude at the tables...

I would speculate that the best thing you can do in that situation is NOT play on tilt, but continue to grind up enough money until you can afford a better girlfriend.
