a friend of mine insists on playing machines only when gambling, no table games, no poker. And to make things worse they like to play VIDEO KENO AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

I've tried to convince them to play video poker because it can be beat if correct paytables and correct play is used. So I want to buy them a video poker book as a gift, but have never looked into video poker books for myself as I am not allowed to play them. So if anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated. I'm assuming any Bob Dancer material would probably be sufficient, but I'll wait until I hear any other suggestions.

Thanks,
Bonanz

IMHO, the best single video poker book is Paymar's "Video Poker - Optimum Play". It's excellent for beginners.

Tell him to just hand you $100 and let you punch him in the face. I think he would be better off that way.
