Empire 3/6...Calling down heads up with Ace high only?

I haven't played much at 3/6 yet, a bunch at 2/4 and tons below that.

I am checking what my opponent has when they lose heads up to me...and I'm seeing more common and what I saw at 2/4...that they are calling down with just Ace high (A5o).

Is this a good play to do? Am I missing something here?

You play A5o? FISH!!!

Depends. I'm not usually the one calling down, but doing the betting and check behind. I may call a bet on the river with it though. You'll get better at knowing went to and when not to. Just takes practice.
