Turn: (14.75 BB) 6/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (4 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero bets, MP3 calls, Button raises, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls, MP3 calls.

Would you 3 bet the turn and charge the CO and UTG+1 more or would you call and see the river? I knew the button had atleast an 8, but I thought there was a chance the button had raised 810s preflop in order to build the pot and cold called the raise on an open end straight draw on the flop. I thought that the CO had a set and UTG+1 had a flush draw, but the pot was 1300+ on the turn at this point so the combination of the fact that the CO and UTG+1 weren't going to fold to a 3 bet and the chance that I could've been up against the nut straight made be believe the best play was to call. Any opinions? I will post results after some feedback.

Fold pre-flop. 3-bet the turn.

Just to comment on why I called preflop. The game was extremely aggressive after the flop, and people were routinely capping on 1 pair in multi-way pots, so I figured if I limped (as there were essentially 3 limpers + BB allready) and made a hand I would get paid off really well.

In an aggressive game, drawing hands like 68s go down in value. Pocket pairs go up in value.

3-betting the turn is +EV here. There are probably two players drawing and a T8 is unlikely. Get more money in the pot with the best of it.

To add to the Masked Wonder and Mr. Sucker's responses -Fold preflop.

You have things a bit backwards. Probably not a wise play preflop for your hand.

Fold preflop and certainly 3 bet the turn.

Definately 3 bet the turn. You have 3 opponents so you are getting great odds on all the money going into the pot.
