What's worse, Vogl's painfully snug and arrogent attitude, or Annie B.'s syntax in her post bringing it to our attention? /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I think this guy sounds like a cool dude. I find his overall perspective on gambling admirable. . .

Dear Fsuplayer,

I'm sorry if I have offended you in any way. I did not intend to hurt anyone's feelings. I just want to bring something interesting to this community.

Best regards,
Ann

"why did you play then?"

For $400,000?

His whole attitude is that neither the money nor the braclet mean anything to him. Figured one of you guys would make that comment. Can't leave out anything without a goon jumping all over it.

I don;t see anything that indicates the money doesn;t mean anything to him. He has gambled in the past for a living; ie to make money.

" Figured one of you guys would make that comment. Can't leave out anything without a goon jumping all over it. "

You're a moron.

After re-reading that article maybe there was no slander about the money. He certainly is trying to play it off as though its no big deal. Sorry bout calling you a goon, but some of these posters on here have to point out absolutely everything that they do better than others. Maybe your that guy, maybe not. Sorry, that comment was due to a day full of bad attitudes on postings and I think Vogl is a goon.

OK. I don;t think you can learn enough about Vogl from that article to conclude he's a goon but whatever. Sorry for calling you a moron.

Man you guys need to give people a break. People go ballistic when Fischman falls on the table when he won his bracelet and then you get your panties in a bundle when Vogl doesn't celebrate. Give me a break!

I'm all for Fischman's celebration...he won a wsop braclet and cash. You should act that way, so long as you aren't showing up another player (and he clearly wasn't). A humble winner is much different that Vogl's reaction per tv and article. Just my opinion.

you probably just don't understand the difference between americans and the british.

the reason he didn't make a big deal about winning is because he got an amazing string of cards. in his eyes, anyone could have won with the cards he was dealt.

brits tend to be a lot more laid back than americans in situations like the above, they generally find it to be pretty gaudy to over celebrate and go crazy.
