I haven't played NL tourneys in a while and just want to make sure I'm playing things correctly. I think I raised to 2.5 BB here with TT (that ok?). Then I figured I had to call the reraise to hit a set.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (10 handed)

CO (t1202)
Button (t7125)
SB (t2870)
BB (t3045)
Hero (t2455)
UTG+1 (t1765)
UTG+2 (t2140)
MP1 (t2450)
MP2 (t1675)
MP3 (t2435)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with T/images/graemlins/club.gif, T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
Hero raises to t250, 4 folds, MP3 raises to t400, 1 fold, Button calls t400, 2 folds, Hero calls t150.

Flop: (t1350) J/images/graemlins/heart.gif, K/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 2/images/graemlins/club.gif (3 players)
Hero checks, MP3 bets t800, Button folds, Hero folds.

Final Pot: t2150
Main Pot: t1350 (t1350), won by MP3.
Pot 2: t800 (t800), returned to MP3.

I limp/call small raises but not reraise with TT (and JJ but not QQ+) UTG at a full table. It's a very dangerous hand since chances are better than even that you will flop an overcard, and you want to minimize the damage of having to play a vulnerable hand out of position. Depending on the flop and the number of players in the pot I will consider taking a stab. TT is just not good enough to play for a raise since you have a very tough decision if you get reraised.

Also you have the added advantage of having a disguised hand when you make it to the flop. Take a look at this (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=933603&page=3&view=co llapsed&sb=5&o=14&vc=1) post about the advantages to limping with TT and JJ UTG.
