Sweet. I just remember hearing that Frampton was #1 and I couldn't belive it. I thought it was the Eagles greatest hits album that was #2 at the time. Not too shabby, but I think we need someone else getting up to the top. Do you have any idea who leads these days?

Frampton's "Frampton Comes Alive" was the best selling live album of all time for quite a while. It still maybe, I'm not up on such things anymore.

Thanks for the link. I am sure that Frampton had the best selling all time album for a long time though, so it seems a bit odd that he wouldn't even make this list.

I think he has the best selling 'live' ablbum of all time. I should try and find a link to that list...

Glad to see Meat Loaf still on the list, if only because, due to the editing standards at the New York Times, every man is always referred to as "Mr. ______," and whenever he's in the Times, they call him Mr. Loaf.
