Do I call this? TPTK with a backdoor flush-draw. Raise it? I figured I was behind to AA or KK, or splitting with AK.

Hums... Now what. I have to at least call. I'm not afraid of an overcard. Raise? I'm seriously lost here.

Had he gone all in, I think you could fold, but this bet size is interesting. It feels like QQ or JJ was raising in an attempt to fold you out and is giving up when that didn't work.

However, raising all in is a bad idea; he either has 2-3 outs or has you drawing near dead, and he'll only call aces/AK. (All right, this assumes he didn't reraise K8s. That's a possibility, too, but we'll say he's sane.)

I'd just call and raise the river, or fire off a decent bet if/when you are checked to.

I screwed this one up badly.
On the turn I pushed, since I didn't want to be faced with an all in bet at the river. Stupid, very stupid. He called and flipped over A /images/graemlins/diamond.gif A /images/graemlins/heart.gif.

I was down to T185. When the tournament was over, I was the winner though. More luck than skill, but that you guys already know. /images/graemlins/grin.gif
