What is the convention with respect to the number of raises permitted in a NL game. I was under the impression it is usually 3. Is that incorrect? Is it unlimited? If there is a limit, does a straddle count as a raise? I was in a hand recently where UTG placed a live straddle, I re-raised, someone re-re-raised and I then re-re-re-raised all in. Is that three raises or four? If I had not gone all in but simply put in another raise, could my opponent have raised again?

No limit means no limit. No limit on how much you can bet or raise (above the minimum) or on the number of raises per round.

I find it realy annoying sometimes when people keep reraising each other $0.50 in a NL game, they keep playing it as if it was limit HE. /images/graemlins/confused.gif
