I strongly suspect that developing a personal style of play that is 100% in sync with your temperament and personality is an essential poker task.
This ongoing style-definition task takes precedence over most 'first' poker decisions, such as game selection.
The development of a perfect personal style of play requires brutal honesty in a rigorous general self-assessment that goes well beyond poker.
