I searched every bookstore North of the Missouri River here in North KC and was finally able to find 1 copy somewhere. Every place in town either had it or order, or only got 1 or 2 copies that were already sold. All I know is I finally got it and for that I'm thankful..

Has 2+2 or anyone else ever done any research into the buyer's reading and application of books about poker? I don't have any specific data I can refer to, but I remember seeing reports that the vast majority of self-help books that are sold are never read cover to cover.

I would guess that many people who buy books like SSH start to read it, and the book ends up gathering dust on the night stand, with a book mark 30 or 40 pages in. Even someone who reads the whole thing is not going to get a lot out of it without going back and rereading and studying in between playing sessions. How many people are actually going to do that?
