Looks fine.

Unless he's got 66 I'd put him on a weaker 9 or possibly even A9. When he bets the river after you capped the turn I'd just call it and expect the worst.

The only hand you really need to worry about is 66 or maybe Q9 on the turn. I probably start seeing monsters when he 3-bets the turn but I don't think capping can be much of a mistake.

so the river call is pretty standard then?

Easy. You've only got to win one out of twenty of these to make it profitable.

Oh I wouldn't fold this. I meant as opposed to a raise.

D'oh, sorry about that. Yeah. I'd say it's an easy call instead of raise after he led out following your cap on the turn.

I'd need a good read on my opponent to keep raising at this point (and I have to assume that folding isn't even an option).

Raise the river. It will net you an additional 1-2 big bets - worth the risk for trips. Remember - he showed NO agression pre-flop.

What does this have to do with anything? The fact that he didn't raise preflop makes it more likely he could have you beat.

Agreed. If he had raised preflop, I would have felt more comfortable about raising the river. Of course, I wouldn't have even been in the hand, but whatever.

It means he probably doesn't have QQ, or TT. He might have 2 pair, or a pair... doubtful that he has the flush, he probably wouldn't have 3 bet the turn on a draw.

Of course since he only called PF he could have a hand like Ad6d which would then explain the 3-bet, but thats a risk I'd be willing to take. I stand by my advice - Raise the river.
