SO.

If you recall, I have posted here a couple of times regarding my custom set that I ordered in JANUARY, only to have them delayed an extra month, and only to get an incorrect package in the mail, then only to get my intended package with the wrong damn design.

WELL.

I finally got my chips in again and they STILL screwed up. They gave me the "American" border as opposed to the Roman one that I asked for and they gave me the colors in quanties that I did not ask for, though they gave me more than 500...

It's fine as they are I suppose, but this is just ridiculous, that after all the [censored] I go through with these idiots, they STILL [censored] up.

you're right that is totally lame. Those people make a living doing this? doesn't seem too professional to me.

wow- really bad all the way through for you, Mike. Not much to say here.

As you saw from other posts, they aren't the only company struggling to deal with custom chip orders.

Well, hope you can get over it and enjoy your chips.

Not trying to defend PC.com and I'm not affiliated in any way but...when you ordered did you get 1 inch as opposed to the standard 3/4 inch center?

When I ordered my chips and asked about 1 inch centers they told me the only mold that worked with the one inch centers was the American mold.

FWIW

No, I know you can get the Roman Borders on what I ordered because on the FIRST set of chips that they sent over which had the incorrect design on it, it had the Roman borders...now they got the design right and messed up the borders. Oy vey....

What do they do with the fubarred chips?

Well, at least there is a happy ending.

With regards to the incorrect border, the manager there, Cathy, who has been the only saving grace of this company throughout this process, has given me a 50% discount on the chips. So $250 for the best chips on the market? I'll take it...it almost makes all the crap I had to go through worth it.

Thought that that may interest you...

Good luck fellow shoppers,

-Mike

I bought chips from pokerchips.com before and they were all very nice (well Cathy mostly). I was going to order from them again and they said they wouldn't charge me an art charge, but I went with chipco instead.

Sorry that you went trhough the hassle, but I was confident they would make it worth your while.

based on all the posts I have read here, & on a personal recommendation from a Casino Chipco is the way to go. Although for $250 not a bad deal, my research has taken me to http://www.homepokerchips.com , the guy DAVE is awesome.

There art charges are ridiculous compared to other chipco resellers.

Nice job in getting that large of a discount! Although not exactly what you wanted, can't beat 50% off. How about some pics of the chips?
