So last night I'm playing and I get involved in a hand with a somewhat mild-mannered table coach. He's not real obnoxious, but he's definetely close. Up until this point I had just been ignoring him and listening to him lecture the rest of the table every now and then.

Anyway, we tangle up in a hand and, I admit, I lay a wicked suck-out on him. I figured I was ahead the whole time only to discover I was instead hopelessly behind. Needless to say, I caught and he lost. (Party's hand histories aren't working for me or I'd post it.)

Here's the chat after the hand -

Him: omg.. nh
[long pause]
Him: u must be one of those people to good to say ty
Me: I have my chat turned off
Him: oh

Heh.

Quality.

Where I totally am "one of those people to good to say ty". I almost never chat in ring tables. In tournaments I'll talk up a storm if I think it will make me money. Odd...

Thanks everybody.

I'm still on a vacation from the ring game- trying to make myself read SSHE and having too much fun winning tournaments.

I've also been posting less because frankly- I think I post too much, and frankly, don't have a firm enough grasp on the game to try and give as much advice as I did. I'm probably going to be posting and reading here a little more, simply because once I do start playing ring again, I want to get my brain back to thinking in that fashion.
